Basic regulations on the structure design of steel silos

1.The design of steel silo structure, should be carried out according to the bearing capacity and normal use limit state.
2.According to the load bearing capacity limit state, it should use the load design value and material strength design value, calculation details includes:
A.the calculation strength and stability of all structural parts;
B.the overall anti overturning calculation of silo;
C.the calculation of silo and foundation anchorage .
3.The design of steel silo structure, according to the normal use limit state , should use the standard value of the load and calculate the deformation of structural parts based on requirements.
4.the steel silo structure and the selection & design of the connecting material, should be in accordance with the current national standard steel structure design code.
