The following is the production process of pharmaceutical Corn Starch:

Pharmaceutical Corn starch is a kind of starch product made from corn. It has good room temperature retention ability, low temperature gelatinization characteristics, colorless and tasteless characteristics, and is widely used in medicine, food, cosmetics and other industries.

1. Cleaning corn: Clean the corn to remove impurities, sand, and stones.
2. Soaking and Germination: Soak the cleaned corn in water for germination treatment, mainly controlling the germination time and degree under conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation, which takes about 2-3 days.
3. Crushing and grinding: Crushing and grinding the sprouted corn to turn it into starch slurry.
4. Separate corn protein from starch slurry: Screen and filter the starch slurry to separate corn protein from it.
5. Separation of starch and fiber: The starch slurry is thinly separated and re separated to separate starch and fiber, which can be used as feed or fermentation raw materials.
6. Starch precipitation: Adjust the pH of the obtained starch slurry and stir it to quickly precipitate the starch, forming starch blocks.
7. Starch quality improvement and refining: Drying, screening, refining and other processes are carried out on starch to make its quality more pure.
8. Packaging and storage in steel silo: the prepared medical Corn starch shall be packaged, marked and stored as required.
